RIO QUICK WAXER REVIEW

Hair removal is something all of us girls can relate to, personally I prefer waxing over threading or tweezing as I find it is the most effective and long lasting way of hair removal. I was recently kindly sent this Rio Quick Waxer which I was pretty excited to try  out as the only waxing removal products I have used before were the strips which I never found very effective in my experience.

This RIO kit is such a great and quick easy way to get rid of any unwanted facial hair, I have been using this on my eyebrows and have been very happy with the results I have been achieving. The product warms up in under five minutes and the no strip formula removes pretty much all of your hairs  and makes it super quick and easy not to mention mess free which was a massive bonus for me.

The process itself is super easy , simply warm up the wax in the little heating pan , string it every few minutes making sure the wax is  a little runny. Once it has melted you use the spatula to apply the wax in a thick coat making sure you apply it in the direction of the hair growth. Allow it to cool down  for a few seconds and simply peel it off in one quick motion. It is important to cool down the area afterwards so do use a cold cloth or a soothing cream afterwards to make sure your skin is not left irritated . This sounds easy enough right?!  If you would like to find out more click here.

Overall thoughts:

A great product worth trying for sure especially if your into waxing and need and easy mess free product. I would say the kit could do with some wipes in order to use after the process or some sort of a solution just to wipe of any excess but apart from that considering this was my first attempt using such a  waxing kit I was very impressed with the results I achieved.

Have you used any waxing kits , if so what was your experience with them?

MY LITTLE BOX LAUNCHES THE UK!

Beauty boxes is something  our beauty obsessed selves are very familiar with, it all began a while back and now there is such a wide variety of boxes which in my opinion is good in a way as everyone can find one that suits their preferences. Recently there's been a new launch in the UK of a Parisian beauty box called My Little Box which aims to " delight and surprise you every month'. The style, packaging and concept seemed right pup my street when I received the press release of My little box and it sure did live up to it standards when it arrived at my doorstep. It has already gone pretty huge in France and it has a lot of potential to be just as successful in the UK as the Parisian brand really explored the concept of a beauty box and made it that little bit more personal and unique whilst adding a few changes to the experience with the way they presented the box but also to the items you find inside.

What's hiding inside My Little Box?

Each box has unique items in it that vary , from beauty products to fashion and lifestyle accessories , a magazine ( always good to have a few of those for those pampering nights ey ;) ) illustrated goodies and as the brand claims 'other surprises too'. In addition to all of the above they do hold a range of their own products which you will be able to try out as each box will contain one item from their collection which is great , this allows us beauty obsessed chicas to discover new brands and products at a very affordable price.

How it works and how much is it ?

The Subscription itself is a very easy process , it puts you on an automatic pay monthly contract but your welcome to cancel that at anytime without any further costs. The Box itself retails at £11 ( plus £3.95 delivery cost) so technically it adds up to £14.95 a month which if you think about it is not a lot at all considering you will be receiving a box full of goodies every month , I have had a good look at the brand and they work with some of the biggest beauty names out there from Clarins, Givenchy  to Dove and Benefit so a great range of both high end and drugstore products will be delivered to you each month.

Overall Thoughts?!

I personally loved the first one which I was kindly sent and will be joining the club , I loved the box it came in and the products impressed me to , I was especially drawn to this particular box as its a varied one whilst you still get your beauty goodies you also receive some fab unexpected gifts too , plus I am totally loving the concept of receiving a little present every month.

LONDON FASHION WEEK SS15 SHOWS

Whilst at fashion week I got the chance to attend some of the shows which took place at the Somerset House.I have to admit my favourite part is to actually see the street styles, and just the vibe that goes on at Fashion week having said that I enjoyed sitting at the catwalks , theres such a great mix of people that attend these from celebrities to some great fashion bloggers and fashionistas which all is very inspiring .  Today I wanted to share with you some of  my favourite looks which I saw and would happily wear myself.

Jean Pierre Braganza : ARCHITECTONIC SS15

' Exploring the accidental elegance of industrial design and abstract expresso his, the point where randomness and consideration intersect'

This was by far my favourite collection the gorgeous tones of taupes, blacks and whites really made a  big impact on me , the whole collection was simply stunning. There were quiet sharp lines and cuts seen in the garments, I particularly liked the choice of fabrics the designer chose from silks to velvets it all worked together beautifully. To me the collection represented modern elegance , the prints were beautiful and it is a collection where pretty much everyone and anyone would be able to find something they like. Paul Costello SS15

' Angel in the Fields sets the scene for this Spring /Summer 2015 collection and reflects a youthful freshness and curiosity that evokes an image of natural innocence and strength. '

Yet another talented designer who's collection was something I would totally rock too! What stood out to me was his use of metallic coloured palette. The lined dresses created a signature tailored look they had a strong and very structured feel to them as you can see in the images below. Whilst being quiet bold they still had a feminine touch to them to me personally they almost seem futuristic. For more of his work click here.
