So we are always on the look out for the best hair mask, face mask, face cream etc but sometimes we forget that the best treatments are DIY treatments, what usually put's people of them is that they tend to take longer to show visible results at time or possibly the fact you have to prepare them.
Recently I have been trying out a DIY Brightening and Pore minimising face mask which I have fallen in love with hence why I decided it to share it with you pretty ladies. Now the best part about it is that not only will you find all of the ingredients you need in your refrigerator the total cost of all your ingredients is under £5 yes ladies you heard that right. Not to mention that you will be able to reuse the ingredients over and over again as you only need a little at once.
Ingriedients:
Lemon
Honey
Greek or Natural Yoghurt
Preperation:
1tbs of Lemon Juice
1tbs of Honey
1tbs of Greek or Natural Yoghurt
Mix the ingredients together apply to clean face for roughly about 20 minutes and VOILA.. Say hello to birghter, tighter and glowy skin!!
Benefits:
Lemon: These babies help to brighten your skin by exfoliating any dead skin cells. They work great at eliminating the size of your pores if applied to the affected area regularly. Since they are high in vitamin c and alpha hydroxy acids found in many skincare products they work great at helping with an uneven skin tone and discoloration.
Honey: This miracle worker has great natural antibacterial properties. It helps at removing impurities from you skin which means it works great on problematic skin.
Greek or Natural Yoghurt: This will help to soothe and moisturise the skin in addition to containing lactic acid which is often used in chemical peels, it hlps to gently exfoliate dead skin leaving you with a clearer skin
So soak up your pretty faces in this one to two times a week and you will be amazed at how much of a difference it can make to your skin.
What are your top DIY face masks?
I never thinking about making my own face masks - I always use the Lush fresh face masks and they never last that long but I suppose making your own would be cheaper! :) Great idea! x
ReplyDeleteyes much cheaper and work so well! :) xx
DeleteI love DIY face masks, it is so cheap and good for your face! I've made masks with yogurt and honey but not with lemon before. I really like how soft the face masks make my skin :)

Thanks for sharing this! I think DIY face masks are great because you know exactly what's in them, so there's lesser risk of adding to your skin problems. However, I still go to a dermatologist to treat skin problems that are harder to deal with, as well as consult what products are safe for me to use.
