GREEN SMOKEY EYE: MAKE UP TUTORIAL

I am back with yet another tutorial , this time I created a smokey green eye which is something unusual for me as I am more of a neutral /bronzed kinda girl however I am happy with the way it turned out, its not your everyday eye look but for a night out in town this would look gorgeous.

The Anastasia Beverlly Hills is still on my top used products and once again in this tutorial I used this as part of the eye look and for contouring. I used the green gosh eyeshadow palette which I believe is no longer available however any green eyeshadow palette will work with this look.

I wanted to keep the look smokey yet not to dark and therefore I did not use and eyeliner instead I used the Maybelline Push Up Mascara  with a pair of Eyelashes to add a more define yet eye look.

For the face I used the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer I find this product to be very brightening therefore perfect for adding brightens underneath your eyes and brightening any other areas on your face.   Having combination skin I do find I need to set the make up in order for it to stay on all day and I have been using the Loreal Infaliable Powder for a long time now and seem to always go back to this not only super affordable but amazing product.

Of course no bronzed look is complete without a bronzer and the Seventeen Bronzer & Highlighter  do an amazing job at giving me a beautiful glow and highlight.

Once again I kept it nude and simple on the lips with the NYX Lip Liner.

Eye Make Up Tutorial: Burnt Orange | Gold Eye Look

Make up/ beauty takes me back on how I got this blog started and as much as I love fashion I want to bring both to my blog as I said in the video, and hence this bronzed / burnt orange look I created in this eye make up tutorial  which I really hope you like.  I have been loving orangey toned eyeshadows , they compliment brown eyes really nicely and give a nice warm look. I created this simple look using only a few colours , it is so simple yet looks like you've made an effort. I hope you enjoyed the  tutorial.

The Anastasia Beverlly Hills is a new product to me and so far I have been loving it and how versatile it is, in this tutorial I used this as part of the eye look and for contouring. Following my recent review I have been still loving this  MUA Undress Me Palette  the colours are stunning and so pigmented. The main colour in this tutorial was the gorgeous brunt orange eyeshadow from Inglot  but of course you can use any similar orange shade to re-create this look. As with any eyeshadow tutorial , blending is key , its important to blend in all eyeshadow colours together for a soft transitioned look.

Contouring has been and still is a big make up trend , personally I love to do a cream contour then set it with a powder, I found that the NYX two sided concealer wand   is a perfect tone for my skin colour but it is also super blend-able.

If you follow me and my blog you will know , this girl only wears a nude lip , it is very rare for me to have a bright colour on. I am a big lover of lip liners but I do find it ca be tricky to find one with the perfect colour and consistency , the NYX Lip Liners tick both boxes for  me the colours are stunning and the formula is creamy and pigmented.

MUA - UNDRESS ME TOO EYESHADOW PALETTE REVIEW + JANUARY FAVES

I recently tried out the MUA "Undress Me Too" palette, a brand which is super affordable and available in Superdrug's. The palette comes in a plastic case , the packaging itself is pretty simple and not the nicest however the colours are super pigmented, long lasting and super bendable.

The Undress me Too palette comes with 12 beautiful Nude Shades , a mix from warm toned to cool toned colours with a vast variety of tones. Having said that the palette holds mainly shimmer colours with only three mattes so if you are all about the matte look this is not the palette for you.  Personally I tend to go for matte eye shadows for everyday look but occasionally I do like to switch it up , this palette is no my to go to when doing a night out look.

The eyeshadows can have a little bit of fall down when applied but for the price tag this palette is at it  is not something to complain about, to overcome this I simply apply my eye make up prior to the rest of my face make up  and this is no longer an issue.

Bronzed, gold eye make up looks have been my absolute favourite for a while , I used the Undress me Palette to create this gorgeous golden smokey eye look seen on the photos.

MAKE UP PRODUCTS USED

ANIKA NAIL POLISH REVIEW

Affordable yet long lasting polish range ,  yep it ca be tricky to find but I have been introduced to a new nail polish range Annika The Edge Nails which ticks both boxes. The brand supplies not only nail polishes but a wide range of nail and beauty products too. With their high quality yet affordable products I would honestly recommend giving this brand a go whether you're a proffesional  or simply looking  for an great quality nail polish to use at home.

What stood out to me about these polishes that whilst being affordable at £4.20!! they have a super long lasting finish and do not chip , I would recommend  putting a top coat on top as this would pro-long it  even more but it also gives it  a nice glossy finish.  The polishes have a thicker consistency to your usual polish however apply beautifully and even after one coat the colour , however I would suggest applying two coats.

They have a great colour range from nudes, reds, pinks to darker shades so theres something for everyone. Personally I tend to go for the lighter new shades, theres something classic about nude subtle nails,  however lately I have been loving the Born Sinner ( red) shade from this range , its a beautiful red and perfect for the Festive season.

The four shades I was kindly sent are Cafe Au Lait , a stunning warm nude  , Blushing Beauty a very subtle light pink,  Clean Slate which is a beautiful taupe grey and Born Sinner a vibrant red. I have used all of the shades and can honestly say I loved them all. These would make a perfect  Christmas gift for any nail polish lover , be sure to check out their range here.

ACNE ULTRA CREAM REVIEW

Its no secret that the key to great skin starts with skincare, its so important to use product suited for your skin type but also to know what it is your putting on your face. A few months ago I was kindly sent the Acne Ultra Cream by the Derma Group, now I am very careful when it comes to trying out new skincare products having combination but sensitive and acne prone skin it takes very little for my skin to react to products. However  what caught my attention to this particular product is the fact its a natural , chemical free formula designed to help soothe and calm your skin.

Now whilst I do not suffer from severe acne I only get the occasional pimple I have noticed my skin looking clearer , smooth but also nourished, as having tried other skincare products aimed at acne they can really dry your skin out.  So do not be put off by the name 'Acne' as whether its pores, whiteheads or pimples the amazing ingredients found in this face cream have been designed to help fight all the problems listed. The cream whilst having a quiet thick formula does absorb in to your skin very well without leaving an oily residue.

Inside Acne Ultra Clear, you’ll find nothing but nature’s finest ingredients – all working together to clear up and repair your skin. The ingredients in the cream are not only natural but also very beneficial for your skin , some of which include:
Olive oil -  helps to restore your natural moisture balance and soothes dry skin .
Coconut oil - i call this the miracle worker as its got so many uses. Coconut oil has a small molecular structure making it a superb absorber .

Beeswax - Amazing at holding in all of your skin’s moisture and unclogging those pesky pores.

These are just some of the amazing ingredients found but if  you would like to find out more simply click here for a full list of all the natural goodness thats within the cream. Overall I think this is an amazing product worth trying , it is all natural so the smell reflects that however I personally prefer herbal creams as lets be honest the only reason some creams have a strong nice smell to them is simply because they have been perfumed which can cause a reaction to your skin.

The lovely team at Derma Group are kindly offering a 10% off for all you lovely readers!! simply click here to get your coupon and defiantly let me know how you get on with this cream!!

NIP&FAB DRAGON'S BLOOD & BEE VENOM PRODUCTS

After cleansing my skin I like the extra step to make sure my skin is left without any traces of make up and I have been really enjoying using these cleansing pads instead of a toner. The cleansing pads have ingredients such as dragons blood, salicylic add, hyaluronic as well as witch hazel which all have beneficial effects on the skin. Whilst the hyaluronic acid hydrates and plumps the skin the salicylic acid helps to clean out your pores  the witch hazel helps to tighten them and the dragons blood restores your skin making it a perfect combo. I find that these do no dry my skin out at all and help to keep it clear and toned.

Another product I have been really enjoying from the Nip & Fab Dragons Blood Range is the Plumping Serum. This is a product you use morning and night before your moisturiser. The serum contains velvet flower which helps to keep your skin hydrated and contains Gransil Ep-9 which is great at absorbing excess oil this is ideal for my combination skin type. The serum is very light weight and absorbs into the skin very quickly. I have really enjoyed using this and will defiantly repurchase this as I am slowly running low on this product.

Lastly is another Nip&Fab product from there Bee Sting range, the eye cream. This is another great ingredient packed product containing bee venom , propolis extract great for healing , coco butter and shea butter  for hydration and softness, Tegocosmo to brighten and Elastan to firm the eye area. The consistency of the cream is quiet thick however having said that I use this morning and night and don't find it too heavy under make up at all despite having combination skin .

Overall I am very impressed with the Nip&Fab skincare products and will most certainly be trying out more of their products as they have a pretty wide range to suit various skin types.

Have you tried any of the Nip&Fab Range?

THE BODY SHOP SPA OF THE WORLD RANGE

I am sure a lot of you would agree with me that when it comes to body skincare The Body Shop always seem to get it right. Their body butters are a dream , they smell beautiful and leave your skin feeling silky soft. I was recently kindly sent their Spa of the World Range which I instantly fell in love with . The whole range smells absolutely gorgeous and I would highly recommend all the items shown in the image above as they all have impressed me. The  Japanese Camellia Cream is so thick yet absorbs into your skin very well leaving you with a soft yet not greasy feeling skin.

The relaxing Egyptian Milk & Honey bath turns your water into a silky , beautifully smelling bath and I really notice a difference in how soft my skin feels after I've used it. As to the Massage oil it can be used in many ways, I like to massage it into my skin or add a few drops to my bath which leaves your skin even softer when the two combine.

The collection is beautifully packaged and looks very luxe. The range contains various luxurious ingredients  which have been sourced from Morocco  Hawaii and Japan with calming and relaxing scents which will give you the Spa feeling at your own home.

Have you tried this range?

LILASH Eyelash Growth Serum Review

Let's talk lashes today ladies, it is fair to say we all want long beautiful lashes and whilst some of us are lucky enough to have been born with long lashes some of us need that little extra help to thicken and lengthen them. I have to say I am quiet lucky whilst they are not ultra long naturally they are pretty thick and when a little bit of mascara is applied they are pretty lengthy to be honest.

A few months ago I was kindly sent the Lilash set which includes an eyelash and eyebrow serum along with a beautiful mirror. Having never used a product like this before I was excited to give this a go and see whether my lashes would benefit from this and to my surprise I really did see results.

The Application:

The product application is super simple , the applicator is small and speaking from personal experience it did not irritate my eyes , in fact I felt like the formula was gentle to the eye causing no redness or any other issues.

A little about the Product:

Liliash Purified Eyelash Serum works by conditioning and fortifying your lash follicles which in return help to enhance and give you the best lashes possible. By applying the product daily to the lash line overtime the formula encourages healthy growth as it penetrates down into the follicle , in other words its like a deep penetrating conditioner for your lashes.

Liliash Purified Eyebrow serum works in a similar way , this is particularly great for anyone who may have over plucked their eyebrows and needs a little help helping to re-gow those hairs.

The results:

As with any serums in order to see results you need to be patient you will not grow thick long lashes over night however with consistent use I can assure you, you will see a big difference in your eyelashes thickens and length.

In the photos below you can see what my eyelashes look like at the moment , these are my current eyelashes without any false eyelashes only the Maybelline Colossal Mascara.

Overall I was very impressed with this product and would most defiantly recommend this to anyone looking to grow longer thicker lashes , however I do think in order to keep the lashes at its best after the treatment you will need to restart the process after a while to keep up the results. The only downside is the price as it retails at £59.93 for 2.95ml and £94.37 for 5.91ml however its a product which will last you either 3 months for the smaller tube or 6 month for the bigger tube and its a product which will provide you with results, have a look at their site here and decide for yourself :).

What do you think about Eyelash growth treatments?

Lorea'l Infallible Pro Matte Foundation & Primer Review

Finding a good long lasting and good coverage drugstore foundation for combination/oily skin can sometimes be a little tricky and this I know from experience however I think  L'oreal may have mastered a foundation which has a high end formula with a drug store price so if your on the look out for an amazing foundation which won't break your bank look no further.

Lorea'l Infallible Pro Matte foundation is one of the newest launches from L'oreal and it is one to try for sure. The oil free foundation with a demi matte finish has a medium to full coverage that feels super lightweight on the skin and leaves your skin looking flawless without the cakey feel or look!

The consistency of this foundation is creamy but not thick, I personally love the formula it's easy to blend and a little goes a long way allowing you to achieve a flawless look which honestly does last all day.

Lorea'l have also launched a primer which is part of the Infaliable Pro Matte range which has been designed to be used prior to the foundation. This is a silicone like primer which works well however I do feel like it is not necessary to use this if your not a primer kinda girl. I have tried using the foundation both with and without it and found that the foundation lasted just as long with or without the primer. Having said that as it is a silicone based primer it works great at smoothing out your skin and leaving it silky soft making the application of your foundation a quick and smooth process.

Overall: This is an amazing drug store foundation with which I fell in love with after the first use not only is this foundation super affordable at £7.99 its very long lasting, photographs beautifully and offers a great coverage.

As to the primer whilst I like it and think its  good quality product it is not something I love and don't find myself reaching out for everyday.

Have you tried the new Lorea'l Infallible Pro Matte Range?

RUSH SALON PRODUCTS REVIEW : M&S LAUNCH

" Rush Silk & Gloss Multi Use Oil has been developed to be used as styling, conditioning and finishing tool. Contains Argan OIl which treats damaged hair and rejuvenates dry ends as well as a blend of Omega 3, 6 and 9."

The oil has a pretty thick consistency so a little goes a long way with this product, having said that it melts into  a lightweight formula when applied on to the hair leaving it silky smooth and glossy as it states. The mixture of Argain oil along with the omega oils deeply nourishes the hair shaft whilst adding a glossy shiny finish to the hair which personally I really like. I have been only using this product for  few weeks and so far so good. Whilst of course there is no miracle product to a quick fix on dry hair I think this product is great at preventing damage and keeping your hair nourished. Unlike most oils this is not one that comes with a pump this one comes with a dropper which is a cool concept although I personally am not a huge fan of simply because it can get a bit messy but that is just a matter of personal preference.

BIG & BOLD VOLUMISING SPRAY " Ultra lightweight styling spray for volume"

As I mentioned many times before I am a big fan of anything Volumising and this product did not fail to impress me and honestly does what it says. Personally I find that some volumising products either do nothing or leave your hair feeling sticky? This is not the case with this product it added a lot of volume to my hair whilst still leaving it soft to the touch. The formula is lightweight and has a fine mist when applied the hair. Rush suggest to apply 4-6 mists on to the roots which I then tend to rub in to the hair roots followed by blow drying the hair as most volumising products activate when heat is applied to the hair.

Overall I think this is such a great and affordable range of products. Rush have created salon quality products easily available to all of us as they are now available at Marks & Spencer stores as well as online making it easy to get hold of their products.

MAKE UP BASE FAVOURITES | PRIMER | FOUNDATION | CONCEALER | SETTING POWDER

Today we're talking make up in particularly the products I use for my base. Having oily , sensitive and break out prone skin I find it pretty difficult to find products that work on my skin and don't cause irritation / breakouts but I have been very happy with the products I am talking about today as they cover beautifully and leave my skin looking flawless. Primers is not something I have always used nor do I ever tend to stick to using one but I am loving this L'oreal Magique number it leaves my skin smooth and glowy without leaving my skin looking oily on top of the Borijious Healthy Glow Foundation these products work beautifully together both products were implies purchases after watching That Pommie Girl's Updated Make Up Routine video and I am totally hooked. Concealers are an essential for me and the two concealers I am loving at the moment are the Rimmel Wake me Up Concealer and the Inglot Cream Concealer for highlighting both work great but the Rimmel one is  lot more lightweight in formula and coverage. Having oily skin a setting powder is a must and I am loving the Inglot Translucent Illuminating HD powder its super light weight , mattes your skin but due to the illuminating finish it does not leave your skin looking cakey, flat or dull.

What are your Base essentials/ favourites?

BIRTHDAY BEAUTY WISH LIST: MAKE UP | SKINCARE |

In just over a week I am turning 23 ( eek no longer Taylor Swift 'I don't know about you but I'm feeling 22) Since I've hit the 20 mark and left the teen years it seems to be flying by so fast! I have been doing a little bit of internet window shopping and made up a small wish list of the beauty products I am currently wanting and needing to try a girl can wish right?haha! I am really into skincare at the moment as I am sure you noticed judging by the products seen on my Wish list. Firstly are the gorgeous REAL TECHNIQUES BOLD METALIC BRUSHES  stunning on the outside and having seen these in store they simply are a make up must have. Moving to a little skincare related products first is the LA ROCHE POSAY SERZONIC ZINC SPRAY  which I have heard so so many good things about and having used La Roche Posay products I just know I will not be disappointed when I try this product. Next is the  PIXI GLOW TONIC ELIXIR which I only recently have heard about but the reviews I have read have been amazing and for someone who has combination skin this product sounds like  just what my skin needs. After all that exfoliating and toning of course its important to repair the skin and this is where the  CLARINS MULTI CORRECTIVE SERUM comes in handy!! This serum is more on the pricer side but is suppose to be very beneficial to the skin which I have no doubt about as after I tried the Clairns Multi Corrective Moisturiser around a year ago I was convinced this range is worth a try. Back to the cleansing I not only love the look of this MAGNITONE LUCID FACIAL BRUSH  but cleansing brushes are great for exfoliating and keeping your skin clear so yes please.

Moving to some make up bits I have been really into glowing skin lately but haven't seem to have found a highlighter which ticks all the boxes for me yet so I really want to give this BENEFIT GIRL MEETS PEARL  a go. On the talk of glow how beautiful does this HOUR GLASS AMBIENT LIGHTNING BLUSH  get in my make up collection now please. Next product is one that pretty much everyone has or loves URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE  and I want to join y'all and finally get one after using my friends palette I fell in love. Lastly are these NEW CID COSMETICS i - GLOW BRONZER I think the image speaks for itself gorgeous colours and would look gorgeous on the skin.

Whats products are on your Beauty Wish List at the moment?

AD SKIN SYNERGY NIGHT TREATMENT REVIEW

AD SKIN SYNERGY NOURISHING NIGHT TREATMENT £38.00

I have been really into skincare lately and think it is so cliche but so true that your make up looks as good as the skin underneath it and if your going to invest in anything beauty wise skincare is defiantly an area worth spending a little more dollar on haha but of course that is not to say you have the break the bank to get great products as that is not the case at all. I think the key to great skincare is firstly using products which are designed for your skin type and two choose wisely.

A few months ago I reviewed a cleansing balm from AD Skin Synergy which you can read here which I absolutely adored and AD Skin Synergy offered to let me try out one more product from their range which I was super stoked about not only is the brand all organic it contains so many beneficial ingredients and oil blends to help repair and restore your skin and is paraben and chemical free.

" The product is an award winning natural anti-ageing face oil, scientifically proven with outstanding results. " I have been using this oil for over two months now and have been very happy with the results and benefits the oil has had on my skin. I notice when I apply this at night in the morning my skins feels hydrated and nourished , this product is fabulous when you've got dehydrated skin and need a bit of a pick me up hydrating product, works wonders after those late nights with your girls in town ha!

I am one of those people who are very picky when it comes to oils as I don't particularly like ones that leave your skin feeling oily for ages this is another little thing that  I noticed about this product once applied on to the skin it sinks in to your skin pretty fast as your skin absorbs it.

This is simply a gorgeous product with an amazing ingredient list of which all is natural, although it is a little on the pricey side a little goes a long way and I can assure you this will last you for months, as I mentioned above I have had mine for over two months and not even half way through the product. Once again AD Skin Synergy have impressed me with yet another product from their range.

Have you tried AD Skin Synergy Range Oil? What are your favourite Night Treatments?

BRAND FOCUS: INGLOT

I am going to do a #BrandFocus series over the next few weeks where I choose top products from the brands I am using at the moment whether it be make up , skincare , haircare etc to share with you guys some of the products I have been really loving lately.

Today's Brand is Inglot which I have not used in ages honestly speaking due to a bad experience with one of their foundations which I just did not get on with, I was in need of a new concealer a few weeks ago and stepped into the Inglot counter which I was passing by in Westfield and decided to give it a go but of course I did not just leave with a concealer but two other items too oops... to my defence I was in need of a new setting powder, lip liner not so much but hey it turned out to be one of my current essential everyday products now so it was a good impulse purchase right? haha!

I simply adore this product , it is perfect for using under the eyes or to concealing spots , redness etc. due to its full coverage it instantly blurs out any imperfections, despite being full coverage it does not feel or look cakey on the skin at all once blended it. Personally I apply this product using a damp sponge which gives you a gorgeous airbrushed finish to the skin. I would say that if you have very dry skin this might not be as suitable for you as the product formula is not very moisturising for anyone with a combination to oily skin this is perfect as I find the product stays matte once set throughout the day.

This is a beautiful lightweight setting powder that adds a matte finish to the skin however due to light reflecting finish it adds a slight bit of luminosity at the same time which I love. The powder is very fine and applies on to the skin very smoothly leaving your skin flawless. It work great at setting your make up without feeling heavy on the skin.

Lip Liners have become big once again as so many of us try to achieve the famous Kylie Jenner Lip. This gorgeous rosy nude colour is perfect to get that look. Inglot's range of Full Metal Lip liners are  two sided lip pencil with lip liner brush on one side and a lip colour at the opposite side. The product itself has a softer formula to your standard lip liner as it contains shea butter which is a good thing as it is not as drying on the lips. Despite the slightly more softer and moisturising formula it still stays put very well on the lips throughout the day.

Have you tried Inglot Products?
