LAUREN'S WAY FAKE TAN REVIEW

Wednesday 4 June 2014

The warm season has officially hit us and it is that time where we all want to have that gorgeous bronzed skin well at least that is the case with me. Whilst nothing beats a natural tan with the sun being very damaging to our skin not to mention we hardly get any in the UK Fake Tanning can be your best friend if done the right way and with the right products.

I have tried and tested many tanning products some of which I loved , others not so much. Today I wanted to to tell you about one of the newest lunches in the Lauren's way Range which gives you colour in just 60 minutes! Solution 60 was designed for a quick tanning fix as it develops very quickly.

The product is suitable for all skin tones , the darkness of the colour can be adjusted to your specific needs and wants by the application of layers you apply to your skin although I would suggest you wait till the product has developed until you layer the product otherwise you could end up with a colour which is too dark but also I found it can start to look streaky if the product hasn't fully dried in-between layers.

The tan comes in a mousse form , it can be used both on your body and face. The formula is very light meaning the product applies onto the skin smoothly and streak free. Once it has been applied on to your skin it dries pretty much instantly which is great as it stops it from rubbing on to your clothes. One key must for me in fake tanners is a colour guide which this product gets a 10/10 for as I find this assures you apply the product on evenly because you are able to see where the product has been applied , lets be honest ladies we all have had those fake tan disasters where we missed a massive patch making us look like total dummies.

The product has a great lasting power and fades without patchiness which is great as I have found that to be a problem with other tanners I have used in the past. Of course taking care of your fake tan is a very important factor, what I found works best for me is to exfoliate and moisturise the night before , fake tan in the morning so that your moisturiser has had the time to sink in to your skin properly this means there will be no oil or residue left on your skin , leave it to develop and then shower.

Overall this is a great product , although it is not on the cheapest side of products the tan lasts up to 3-5 days if taken goo care off and a little goes a long way meaning the product will last you a pretty long time.

  7. I have never used this before but hoping to in the next few weeks :) I don't normally tan as I find my skin so pale you can really notice fake tan and its harder to get away with it :( but I have used Coco Brown and Xen Tan in the past and these give a natural finish and people compared Lauren's way to these mentioning that they give similar results so this will be good to try xx
