SHOELICKS : PIMP YOUR HEELS

Monday, 8 December 2014

Today's post is perfect for any shoe lovers out there like me who like to add a little extra personal touch to their style. Ever wanted a pair of a designer heels but simply can not justify spending that  amount of money on one pair? I feel you girl but thanks to SHOELICKS  now you can have your own personalised coloured heel for as little as £2.99 bargain right?! I recently came across Shoe Licks , the Chicas who came up with the idea were inspired by the oh so famous red sole and wanted all us ladies to be able to be able to have the designer feel to our affordable high street shoes.

The Shoe Licks girls have come up with many gorgeous and unique designs so that your able to customise your heels to suit your outfit and add a pop of colour as well as originality to the whole look.  I was kindly sent a pair of stickers to customise my own pair and chose this gorgeous mint colour which I think is beautiful , if you would like to have a look at this particular sticker click here.

How it works?

ShoeLicks are durable to the weather one size stickers which can be easily removed if needed. The sticker come in a rectangular form and you simply adjust it to your shoes cut out the shape stick it on and your done.

My thoughts?

I love the concept and idea behind ShoeLicks, it instantly adds a unique feel to your shoes and is perfect for a special occasion and with the Christmas party season coming up this is a great and affordable way to add a little more glamour to your look. One con I would say these have is that they are pretty small in size , I found that one sticker was not enough to cover up a pair of shoes however having said that , they are so affordable you can simply buy two packs to make sure you have enough to cover up both shoes. A little tip I would give when applying these is to draw out the outline and use a cutting knife to cut out the perfect shape , I used scissors and feel like a cutting knife would give a cleaner and more precise cut , nevertheless I am happy with the outcome and pop of colour that this has left my nude heels with.
