Bourjois Blush,

Personally I am a big blush lover, I think it can highlight your face, give you a gorgeous glow and give your face a little pop of color.

I have tried and testes many blushes in the past and recently came across these lovely pots of goodness! Not only is the packaging adorable the colors are absolutely gorgeous too!

In the pot the blush has quite a nice pinky-gold colour to it. Despite being a little  worried that the gold would make the blush appear rather shimmery on the skin I purchased t regardless as the color looked gorgeous when I swatched it on my hand, but after the first time of using it, I'm glad I didn't let that thought put me off as I am in love with this blusher.

The Packaging:Each pot is a different shade, and has a small button on the outside which you then press to open the lid. On the inside of the lid is a small mirror and a small application brush . The brush that comes with it is not the best though it is a little rough and not the best for the application of the product however I never use the brushes that come in the compacts anyway so this was not a problem for me.
The pot is also small enough for you to carry around in your make up bag or clutch.

The price around £5.49 , I personally think its cheap despite the small-looking pot which may lead you to thinking you are not getting your monies worth , surprisingly it does last a long time. I've been using it almost everyday for the past month or so, and looks like it's hardly been touched.

Now a few tips and tricks on the application..

How  I apply my blush?

First please do not start too close to your nose. If you apply the color too close to your nose, then it will look very unnatural and silly. Another silly mistake a lot people make is smile really hard whilst applying their blusher but girls please, please say a big NO NO  to that from today as this will leave you looking like a clown most of the time instead simply have a feel where your cheek bones start by gently pressing your fingers or brush on your cheeks and brush upwards from there and I guarantee you will be left with a gorgeous pop of color on your cheeks!

Tap off any excess..
Before you apply it to your cheek bones make sure to pick up  some product onto your brush and then tap off any excess, loose powder. Brush the blush out and up.

Next, once you applied the amount of color that you wish to have on your cheeks, blend the color into your cheek using light circular motions by doing this you will create a softer, more natural look and Voila you're done!!

What are your most worn blushers?

  3. I love these blush pots too. You seem to have the same one as me? A lot of them are quite similar though. I think sometimes, blush dabbed slightly on the nose can look cute in the colder months, blush application is different for everyone I think and I'm forever trying out new ways of doing it!

  11. I love blush but I could never pull out this shade. I wish I could though, but I can only wear bronze shades because of my skin colour. I am sure this one looks amazing on you x

  13. I really love bourjois blushers, although a lot of people give their brushes that come inside a lot of stick - i think they're fab. They curve around my cheeks and I adore the smell of the actual blusher! I've only ever used this apart from switching to a sleek one that I got in my glossybox, but it's not the same and i'll be switching back soon!

  15. It's actually funny how Bourjois is considered high end (and quite pricey!) here in Canada, that's why I'm lemming after their Chocolate bronzer but I could never afford it ): This is a gorgeous blush, I totally understand what you mean with the shimmers in it!

  16. I heard so much about Bourjois blushes and I just love their small pot packaging! These cost $20 a pop in Australia which isn't very affordable at all :( Great tips as well. I normally don't smile when I apply blush as I do find that it can look overdone!
