Maybelline Colour Tattoo

Tuesday, 2 April 2013

Hey Dolls,
Today I am going to talk to you about the Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows which have been out for quiet a while now and I have been using them for a few months now which means I can give you a full review of the product.
The Colour Tattoo eyeshadows are a drugstore version of the Mac Cream eyeshadow pots which claim to be smudge proof, crease proof as well as stay put for 24 hours. I wasn't sure what to expect from these when I first heard about them as most drugstore cream eyeshadows I have used from the drugstore before ended up not working that well, they either ended up creasing or drying up very quickly. However after having seen reviews of these by some of my favourite youtubers and bloggers I decided to give them a go.

The range has some beautiful colours however me being the neutral colour lover I am I bought the taupe colour as you can see in the image below it is a beautiful matte brown colour which works great as a base. The formulation of these eye shadows are very similar to the MAC Paint pots, its thick in consistency yet creamy and very pigmented.

So the verdict..? This cream eyeshadow wears Amazingly and stays put on for a very long time. I find it works great on it's own or as a base under my eyeshadows. If you like MAC Paint Pots and lare looking for a cheaper alternative this is the perfect product for you.

  1. I'm a lover of all things Maybelline, yet for some reason I just haven't gotten around to trying these. I suppose for the reason you mentioned above - not many drugstore cream eyeshadows seem to work (at least, not for me.)
