LET'S CATCH UP, IT'S DECEMBER, NEW MISS GUIDED SHOES & EVENT ATTENDING

Hey Beauties, Today I have a bit more of a rambly let's catch up kind of post.Firstly I can not believe it is December already !! As you can see from the photo above I decided to go a bit festive haha and honestly can not wait for Christmas now.  Over the last few days I haven't blogged much mainly because I have been doing  a bit of what I would say is behind the scenes work on my blog such as working on a new theme from pipdig which is still in progress but I think it looks much cleaner and better so soon it should be completely done. I have also been  planning my posts and how I would like to organise them a bit more to have more of a variety but also to create content that is of high quality.  As it is a bit of a catch up I thought I'd tell you a little what I have been up to this week. I was invited to a Vashi Diamonds event which was a great experience the rings were just stunningly beautiful you can see them above I do have a full post on the event coming up this week so you'll be able to see more snaps from that. On saturday myself and a few of my friends went out which was so much fun we went to Love & Liquoir Club in London , you simply can not go wrong with a girls night right? I also went out for dinner which is where I am rocking the red bandeau top with gold accents I really liked the way the outfit looked so thought I'd share that with you . As excited as I am for Christmas I am not as excited about the cold wether but of course  since has been a little chilly it is time to get my onesie out and I am in love with this Mickey mouse number which is so cosy and coffee well its an essential all year around . Oh and lastly how amazing are those leopard print Miss Guided Shoes.. I am simply in love. I hope your all having a fab week.

What have you been up to lately?

TOWER LONDON NOW STOCK SKECHERS

I was recently invited to the TOWER London store in Wood Green and had a lovely meeting with Ellie Craig who is the Fashion and Social Media Editor at Tower  London where she introduced me to the wide and diverse range of shoes they hold in their store, from heels, trainers , UGGs to childrens footwear. Having an interior design background I also really like their sleek and chick interior of the store with a cool young vibe once you enter . Their signature yellow and black bold look makes the really stand out from the rest.

During my visit I got to know the store a bit better and being a shoe lover myself it was a fun experience which I really enjoyed. Ellie introduced me to the brands they hold one of which is Skechers as they have recently launched a new range of running shoes now being pretty into fitness and in fact running I was very excited in particular about this range which is now available at Tower London.

I was very kindly given a pair out to try which I will do a full review on once I have fully tested them out, TOWER London were kind enough to let me choose from the selection that skechers have launched. The pair I chose were the Skechers Black and Grey Flex appeal pair which you can check out here, so far I am loving them not only are they super comfortable but I think very stylish too.

During my visit at TOWER  London it gave me a little christmas present inspiration! With Christmas around the corner we are all stressing what presents to get who and I am speaking from personal experience here, each year it seems to get harder and harder right? Shoes would be an amazing gift for pretty much anyone! ladies we all love a new pair of heels and guys whether it be smart shoes or trainers I don't think they would be complaining either or just simply treat yourself whilst doing your christmas shopping after all we all deserve a treat from time to time.

TOWER London have also run a blog with lots of unique and fun content, competitions as well as updates on lots of fun events in London so be sure to check it out here.

What makes TOWER London Different from other Stores?

TOWER London is different because we’re not trying to fit in with the rest of the high street. Our company was founded in London and we’re really capitalising on that urban history with strong graphics, a varied yet coherent product choice and a blog that focuses on life in the capital.

How would you describe the shoe Styles available at Tower London?

It’s very eclectic but in a way that works well. For example you could come to TOWER London and get Converse for yourself for the weekend, some Ted Baker heels for work, Shellys London platforms for going out as well as Kickers for your kids and Vans for your other half.

Three fun Facts about Tower London?

1: It took over 12 weeks to create the two bespoke LED screens in TOWER London’s flagship store
2: Over 150 mini croissants, 50 fresh juices and 50 Cuckoo bircher muesli pots were devoured in just under two hours at TOWER London’s recent bloggers’ breakfast

3: Team TOWER walked over 10 miles (mostly in heels) during the most recent London Fashion Week.

ELF BLUSH PALETTE REVIEW

Let's talk a little make up today, in particular the brand Elf. Now Elf is one of those very affordable brands which have a great range of products which I would say some people underestimate whilst just like any other brand yes not all of their products are phenomenal there are some which are absolute gorgeous and are absolute bargains.

Today I wanted to talk to you about a newish addition to their studio line, The Studio Elf Blush Palette. The palette hold four gorgeous shades which is great as it can be used for various looks. With a mixture of both matte and shimmery shades which is great as you get a selection of product within a small palette . The shimmery shades are very wearable as the shimmer is very subtle and not over powering which can be the case with a lot of products which do contain a bit of glitter inside them.

The texture , finish and pigmentation of this product is of a high quality and luxurious product, which being honest I was very impressed with , I have used some of their powder type products before and felt like they did not reach my standards however it is not the case with this product. All of the four shades have a butter smooth and extremely pigmented texture so do apply these with light hand and build it up for a more intense look.

I particularity like the packaging of this product ,the matte finish gives it a chic , sleek look. It contains a built in mirror which is great and perfect if you are travelling or on the go. Another great thing about this palette is that the individual pans can be popped out so if you are able to customise your colours as they do the pallets in dark and light for different skin tones. The palette I have is in the darker shades but as you can see they are still very wearable and flattering.

The main thing I would improve on with this palette is possibly naming or numbering the colours so that it is easier to reference to them. Nevertheless the shades that come in the darker palette are as seen below. All four shades in my opinion are very pretty and versatile would suit many skin tones.

Overall this is such a great product at such an affordable price it retails at £7 which I personally think is amazing for the quality of the high pigmented product and the choice of colours you receive. Trying out this product reminded me I need to try out their products more often and I am looking forward to placing an order with them so will be having more elf product reviews for ya'll soon.Get your Elf Blush Palette here.
