Konjac Sponge Review

I was recently kindly sent this Konjac Sponge as I have been looking to improve my skincare and just generally take better of my skin. I have used many facial cleansing sponges before however found a lot of them quiet rough on the skin leaving me with red / and irritated skin after using it. Having used this for just under a week I have already noticed a difference in the smoothness of my skin , it feels very soft and gentle on the skin yet still leaves your skin deeply cleansed, as to whether it has become more radiant I can not say that yet as I have not used it for long enough however I do have high hopes as so far it has been working great.

It is an extremely gentle yet effective exfoliating sponge which can be used on both your face and body. This sponge will not replace your make up remover however will be a great addition to your cleansing process.

Is a 100% natural Vegetable Fibre Sponge with a nourishing mineral rich red clay deep cleansing sponge which gently exfoliates your skin without over drying it or irritating it. It contains red clay which is known to clean out the skin and speeds up the process of skin regeneration. It also aims to improve blood circulation which helps the skin to look more radiant.

How to use the sponge?

It is important to wet your sponge before using it as it goes solid and dry when not damp, simply run it under water until its completely soaked and your sponge will be ready to use. Once it has been in contact with water the sponge becomes soft and puffy thats how you know its ready to use, i apply cleanser all over my face then using circular motions exfoliate the skin. The circular massaging will also help with stimulating your skin and improve the skin renewal process. 

How often will I have to replace the sponge?

Like most things it does have to be replaced after a while, they claim it will last for at least 2-3 months of course that varies how well you take care of it. To pro long the wear I suggest you rinse he sponge well leaving it clean and ready for the next use, whats handy is that the sponge has a string so you can hang it and allow it to dry ready for the next use. 

 

Final Thoughts

So far so good , I have been using this every night and will be continuing for sure , I would totally recommend this as it is a great product and comes in various forms for different skin types. They retail at £7.99 which I thinks great for what you get!
